Marlon Ferdinand commonly known on the spoken word circuit as “P.O.W.” (Power of Words) has been writing and performing since the at of 14. More than three decades later, P.O.W. is still clenching microphones all over the United States and then some.
A native of Brooklyn N.Y., and raised in Miami with the culture of Trinidad and Tobago (apple, oranges and mangoes), his artistic influences are varied and strong. But his “baby” would be that of spoken word, because it has no boundaries or buffers. It’s One Man with One Mic for One purpose.
